FAQ

What kind of ceremonies do you perform?

Many of the most common ceremonies I perform are religious with customizations such as sand and candle ceremonies. I also allow for personalizations such as personal vows created by the happy couple.

How long will my ceremony last?

The typical ceremony lasts 10-15 minutes but time is strictly based on each individual need. Some prefer a simple ceremony while others want to add songs and multiple readings and rituals.

Do I need a marriage license?

For a legal marriage a marriage license is require. However, if you prefer just a simple commitment ceremony a marriage license will not be required.

I am being married in another state. Do I need to get my license in my home state or in the state I will be married?

You will obtain the license from the county courthouse in the state you are being married. If you prefer to get a license in your home state and county – you must marry there for it to be legal. This can be done by simply exchanging vows within the courthouse. This means you will be legally married on that day. This will not change the ceremony. However, I highly suggest getting the license in the county and state in which you will wed if you want your license to have the same date in which you have your ceremony.

What are your fees?

Fees are based on different circumstances such as location, time, and date. During our initial consultation we will discuss the cost to have me as the officiant of your ceremony. I strive to be fair in my pricing.

Do you travel?

I am based in New Jersey but able to perform ceremonies in all states. I am available to travel but please be aware that all out of state travel will incur an extra fee for travel costs.
